It is irritating when you see people reading the mags for minutes on end, then stuffing them willy-nilly back on the shelf. There’s no problem having a quick leaf through to see what’s in and if the mag’s worth having, but if you want to read and inwardly digest it buy the bl**dy thing! That said, you can usually get a pretty good idea of what’s in the mag- to quote the book it’s usually “written on the front in large, friendly letters”
