Indeed I did suggest that. I also suggest that anyone who’s seen Memphis Belle recently, or more than once, and then read the story in question will see what I mean straight away. There’s a difference between drawing inspiration from a source and blatantly lifting dialogue.

That said, I also think the guy’s got serious balls to put his work up for scrutiny and I hope he’s taken away, read and digested the advice everyone’s given him to make a proper job of getting the stories from his imagination to the page. Whether or not that’s the case, we’ll just have to wait and see.
