    Tornado didn’t do much better. Remember a few years ago they were looking for a Tonka that had gone in off Spurn, fished two others up before they got the right one…

    A friend of mine did a spot of the re-enacting malarkey a couple of years back at Elvington, still does on the rare occasion. He’s in his late 20’s by the way. Tried to rope me in, but the fact that I just ain’t got the time got me off the hook. And have you seen the price of all the gear they need? Owch!
    Fair play to them who do it, if it’s their choice of hobby…

    Moving WR977 took approximately 6 weeks; given more time I don’t doubt that they would have had a go at the Finningley Beverley as well! 😮

    Just to veer slightly more off-thread (but I officially blame Twin Otter for mentioning the B word), has anybody been to Fort Paull and seen the photos there of freighting their Beverley in? Quite a job well done…

    Not sure, but it can be seen more clearly in the background of the photo of the above-mentioned radial if that helps…
