The Bruggen ones were all dispersed to the Sqns,14 had XV425(CD) Ex 228 Ocu marks,31 and 9 Sqn decorated theirs in their own markings.
17 Sqn
31 Sqn
At the end of their active life they got used as BDR trainers and fire trainers.Bruggen had six Phantoms,One FG1 crash/fire trainer,One F4J which went to 9 Sqn if i remember and the other Sqns got FGR2s and the final one went to the BDR school and was kept in a Rub.Laarbruch got one FGR2 and Three F4Js .The Js were all left with their engines unlike the FG/FGR ones.I think the Laarbruch js ended up on Pembery ranges when Laarbruch closed.

My mistake,Your quite right ,The one at West Freugh used to be XT 852,But unfortunately she was scrapped in july this year along with the Argosy. The rumour was that she was offered to several museums but nobody wanted her and she got chopped.I can’t see this happening as i would have thought most museums would have jumped at the chance to have her.
Hi Scotty,The pictures were taken in the past year,If you want to go up i would be happy to meet up and show you around the little bits that i know
