You started it by asking if it referred to access from outside the US.

I had actually worked out you were trying to access the site. You mentioned it earlier so it wasn’t difficult.

If you read the other WIX related thread, you’ll see that Fargo Boyle says their server’s being upgraded.

The fact that you haven’t been able to access the site for weeks is probably not their problem but yours.

A lot of people use it but it’s understandably heavily US orientated.

It was offline yesterday morning but came back in the evening. Gone again now…

First twitches I’m aware of since the period a year or two ago when I had to use a VPN to access it.

Not HP himself, George Volkert was the lead designer. As I recall, unlike GdeH, HP started to delegate design responsibility relatively early on the history of his company.

To get it down to the jetty, unless the track is now considerably wider than it was 30-odd years ago, would require a lot of dismantling.

I hadn’t considered a helicopter but despite the obvious high cost, it could well be the most practical and economical  solution.

Edit to add, a lot of man-handling would be required too. There’s a Land-Rover on the island – and that’s about it.
