Google’s DNS server 8.8.8.8 is reputed to work but my BT Home Hub 6, despite being the Business version, doesn’t want to play.
It hasn’t worked for me in the UK for a good couple of months.
Working fine on Opera using their built-in VPN set to Europe.

The Centaurus engine isn’t inherently unreliable but it was designed to use a particular oil which is no longer available.
It seems there is no substitute and although I believe Shell would at one time make more, and may still do, there was understandably a very large minimum order quantity.

It cannot be recovered, full stop. Or period, as you say. It will always sit there decaying whether he likes it or not. “When the aircraft is recovered” is never.
