Google’s DNS server 8.8.8.8 is reputed to work but my BT Home Hub 6, despite being the Business version, doesn’t want to play.

It hasn’t worked for me in the UK for a good couple of months.

Working fine on Opera using their built-in VPN set to Europe.

As Mark Pilkington pointed out a few years ago – The International Group for not one Historic Aircraft Recovery.

They’re still batting on about and professing to spend money on the P.38 which is protected and can’t be touched.

The search facility’s been crap for many years, even before the changeover.

I assume the label Artifact 2-2-V-1 is used as it sounds more impressive, or scientific, than plain Exhibit A?

The Centaurus engine isn’t inherently unreliable but it was designed to use a particular oil which is no longer available.

It seems there is no substitute and although I believe Shell would at one time make more, and may still do, there was understandably a very large minimum order quantity.

How much work is done is none.

I agree that nothing would preserve it and it’s also a fair bet that Cadw haven’t got a clue about aircraft wrecks so would err on the side of caution.

As I said, it can’t be touched.

It cannot be recovered, full stop. Or period, as you say. It will always sit there decaying whether he likes it or not. “When the aircraft is recovered” is never.

I don’t think that’s the same aircraft.

The artwork, apart from being Bambi, is totally different and the mission tally is in a completely different location.
