Thought I would show this, its a commission showing the BBMF over their home base. Still a work in progress but despite my terrible photography its looking good so far.

Yes its not too much trouble, I’ve changed a few small things since I posted the last version, I have replaced the Rose turret (turns out it probably didn’t have one) with a FN turret and made the prop tips a little less prominent, I’ll post it when I have a photo so you can see what I mean

Well now I’ve almost finished a doubt as to whether or not this particular Lancaster had a Rose Rice Turret has come to light, so would any of you knowledgeable chaps be able to tell me one way or another or at least point me in the right direction were I might find out. The aircraft in question is ME619 SR-U of 101 squadron.

S’pose I should show you guys what I’ve been working on, though not sure how historic the subject is, that being Gulf war Tornado GR1s.

I’m planning to have a bunch of flares on it so I’ve been messing in photoshop to work out positions etc and whether I am brave enough to try and paint them

Purely personal interest, I remember seeing Sheila on the news when I was a kid, and I have an interest in the pioneering/record breaking flyers, glad you liked it
