Much as I disagree with the UK going with STOVL, I feel it should be pointed out that MANY types of A/C will be operated off these ships, not just one. I understand that the RN will be flying Merlins off them regularly, and I’m sure the Lynx will be a regular visitor. Nitpicking I know, but I do like accuracy. So the statement probably should have been only one type of FIXED WING a/c.:D
