    Hi John,
    We done LGW-SAN ( Orlando Sanford not MCO ) last year on a MyTravel A330, and it was one of the best flights we have done to Florida, plenty of room even in Economy, and still had happy kids after 9 1/2 hrs. Not sure what BMI is like to US, personally i have always been put off by the indirect flights as didnt fancy the extra time onboard.

    So A330 gets thumbs up for me, but still does not beat the flight deck visit on a Virgin 747 200 on our 1st trip in 2000, guess thats all history, not to be repeated now 🙁

    Great Program, was it based upon Mike Keegan as in British Air Ferries ( me “old” boss) I know his name was always on the credits at the end?

    I maybe wrong ( long time ago! ) but i think Ladi was using one of the Rockwell Commander Crop Sprayers on “The Pier Job” i was about 14 at the time returning on a National Coach from my 1st visit to LHR, and remember coming through East London & the driver commenting on the plume of smoke in the distance. On getting to Southend Bus Station i went with my parents to Pier Hill to see the “Dive Bombing” in operation.

    I`ve tried to do a google search for a picture, but its caught fire so many times now, there are hundreds of them! 😀

    Yes, believe it went to Manston, then maybe upto Norfolk.

    Like some other posts, HP Herald for me in 1980 – G-BCWE – BAF Newspaper flight Southend – Basle, Just 2 front seats on this flight and they were both taken! So it was standing up on the step between the pilots hanging on for dear life, what a 1st flight!

    Hi, I`m new to the forum – and sorry to add to this post thats over a year old! – Hopefully interested members have their email alerts turned on, so maybe i will get a reply.

    Anyway i have a friend who would like to now any history on the Cadman Bros. Invader, now believed to be in Norfolk, what the future plans are if any, and anyone taken any pictures in recent years.

    Sorry to change the post slightly, but i`m looking to upgrade from a £90 panasonic digi, to a proper digital SLR but dont want to shell out £550 – £650, does anyone know of anything half decent in between?
