It does seem strange for UK to give out that kind of money as ‘aid’, specially when it has its own economic to deal with.

I am not too optimistic about the B748s sales. Only 33 have been ordered till now and out of that 8 are for private owners. So 20 by Lufthansa and 5 by Korean Air and I don’t see any customers lining up for the aircraft in the horizon.
