    main difference is range…A330=8334 km while A340=around 12,000 km. Interesting to know the A330 generates more thrust than the A340…

    Thrust
    A330: 135 000 lb (GE CF6 engines)
    A340: 124 800 lb (CFM 56 engines)

    The 707 is still used by Sudan, Ghana and some other countries and is still used as a freighter by many airlines. Small and new cargo airlines mostly prefer the B707 as a starter.

    I agree with Mongu and GD1. As GD1 said there is no crash till now directly affilated with smoking on board.

    Some airlines do allow smoking at the back of the aircraft like Air Somalia on there TU 154, but its very risky.

    Why do you want to build a new airport…..why dont try improving the existing one so that things like these can be avoided, one accident doesent prompts the govt. to make a whole airport.

    Yup…my band has several demos recorded, just we dont have time to put them together. I am a GnR, specially Slash freak :).
