Mickael Rabilloud was buying up a lot of Fw190 stuff into the USA.
They could have used a bit better looking cockpit prop..Or are they using the Yakfire again?
Building a Spit can get boring sometimes..Try drilling hundreds of 3/32″ or 1/8″ holes day after day ..

Actually was going to ask if anyone has a pic of the clockwork box in place in a Spit..Have the box,need to work out the mounting..Think it sits above the air bottles behind Frame 11…Please?

We do like to take ownership of all the good stuff from NZ like Split Enz and Russel Crowe amongst others buuuut no they are all NZ and will probably stay in NZ.They will be properly preserved I think and put on display.
Plus VFR have another two or three in the pipeline.
Its been going for a few years.They are pretty much rebuilding one or two B17s from scratch.Have a feeling the remains of Liberty Bell are there as well being redone.
Think COMOX got it to a fairly advanced stage.One of the first Spit projects that had fairly regular updates on the Internet..
Good for odd shaped cutouts as well.Does involve large amounts of filing and sanding though..
