The production line is still open, for the F-15K, IIRC.
Yes, you’re right. There is a contract of 40 F-15Ks that still needs to be fulfilled.
Well actually the F-15 will still be challenged by the Flanker even when the F-22 comes online…
Don’t try to be a smart alec. 🙂 You know what I meant.
No one’s claiming that China can directly take on the US. Rather, her naval forces are growing enough for her to assert herself as a more major player in the Asian-Pacific theater. The potential area of operations are being widened, at least to encompass China’s EEZ, and will post a bigger threat to her immediate neighbors.
Joystick eh? I use the big one that counts, wink wink. :diablo:
A new Washington Post article quotes a Kremlin official as saying that of the 20 some Russian special forces killed in the attack, most were accidentally shot in the back by armed locals who were rushing to get inside. Geez, that’s why the Alfa guys wore white armbands, locals.
maybe the Tannenbaum guy made it up in the heat of torture.
True, that could also very well be.
its call “wienerschnitzel” 😀
yeah yeah, Mr. spelling-bee-winner. 🙂
Google,
F803 is the Dutch De Zeven Provincien class ship ‘Tromp’. Pretty isnt she!.
Very pretty; much better looking than the old Tromp. 🙂
Great pics, thanks Ja!
What class of ship is the one in the first few pics? F803?
The man behind the Krapp
Here is a pic of “Professor” Carlo Kopp, didn’t know he was a lecturer at Monash, there goes my faith in that institute! Also I’ll include a link to his website, for those in need of a good laugh!!!
It’s that fishy moustache I tell you!
Although to be fair to the Russians, the West has never had to deal with terrorist/hostage-taking incidents of this magnitude.
Now, in real history, which version of the P-38 carried underwing cannon pods? I know they had some versions with ambulance pods, but these cannon pods are new to me.
That’s most likely a misprint. Consider this- if a lowly news corporation reported such a blockbuster deal, then it would have been all over the defence journals, which it wasn’t.
How come the Russian troops didn’t form a tighter cordon around the school to prevent the terrorists from escaping?
I hate to say it, but the whole siege sounded very incompetently managed. Every force, e.g. security troops, firemen, seemed to be independetly minded and doing their own thing with no higher authority.
Islamic or otherwise, taking children hostage is despicable.
