They done something similar one year on the Saturday before the Southend Airshow, it was filmed Air to Air from a Sea King by the BBC for the Airshow programme think Brendan O’Brian? was in the back of the Swordfish, was at the airport to see the take off of the Swordfish being filmed you could see all three in formation going along the sea front.

Sadly my video of the programme got mangled by the recorder never to play again. Would love to see it again.

Whats got to be remberd like Creaking Door said only ten were ever made I’m sure I read somewhere that because of a lack of orders no jigs were produced all the aircraft were hand built so parts would fit one aircraft but not another so maintaining the fleet both in its RAF days and Heavy Lift (UK) days could prove a problem. If she is scrapped all useable spare willl be removed and hopefuly her flight deck will be saved.
