i think it was something to do with the fact that there was a little bit of explosives being in the area were it normaly turns round. 😉
With it being the first time ive been their for a night taxi run i did not know what to expect. Just seeing a lancaster in the dark with its engines running was well worth going to see, but when they throw in a spitfire display and a mock airfield attack it just rounds the day off perfectly.
Perhaps next time they could have the spitfire flying,the lancaster taxiing and the pyrotecnics going off all at the same time 😎
