So will aircraft like the Lanc and Sunderland be outside?
Rare photo oppurtunities.

Anyone know anything about this?
This list seems to havefilms under their us titles. Ie, ‘A Matter of Life or Death’ becomesm ‘Stairway to Heaven’ in the list
eric, yes i think you’ll find that he is indeed trying to be deliberately provocative. Better to ignore rather than risk an interesting thread falling to pieces.

He owns Janie and Rob Davies owns B B Doll. I think this right anyway.

If it was a similar situation and the we were again fighting for our freedom then perhaps people would raise the money. I would hope so.

Couldn’t see people doing a similar thing these days…

Sad news, if ever there was a strong reminder needed for the CWH Lanc to be flying, then this is it.
Mark 12,
Thanks for naming a thread after me, perhaps a memorial library next 😉 for achievements in avatar creation
Id seen an animated avitar on another forum and i was as perplexed as perhaps you were when you saw mine. Much searching and reading on the internet led me to a page which pretty much teaches you how to make one. They are Gif files and you can make them quite complex if you wish alhtough there is a limit on here not only in the dimensions of the image 70pix x 70pix max but also in file size. Im at home at the moment but will be back at uni by late evening, here i have the info on making them and i shall post it. Alternatively, send me a series of images no bigger than 70pix x 70 pix that make up an animation and i will construct one for you. Mine came from taking some stills from some of my video footage.
Best Regards, Steve
Thanks for the info Cees, i couldnt agree more about the Netherlands deserving a Lanc for display. Look forward to hearing more info on here or on the WIX board.
Anyone know which studio is behind the project, would be a good indicator of the kind of film we are going to see.
We could always give it a chance. Not all American war films are of the Pearl Harbour ilk.

Melvyn, Id not noticed the corrosion but i think just looking at the efforts they have made and the condition of the cockpit, always hard to judge the detail in a photo i admit, that this will be an excellent restoration at the finish. Like Laurent said, they are working on it so it should look great when finished.

five metres is extremely shallow, wow. Any clues as to which lanc it is and better still, any photos?

there are a few kicking about on ebay on cassette but its only a short wait to get on cd so i shall wait for that i think.
thanks for the info.
Reread Peter’s post. He says he noticed it during watching the video Just Jane. In this video it shows the making of Night Flight. Therefore PA474 doesnt even enter the equation. She was inserted in scenes in Night Flight but not in the video.
