Spotted two tiger moths,one on wednesday 6th heading north following the new A46 east of nottingham.Second one on sunday 11th heading south at the same location.First one was possibly silver,second one colour unknown.

We filmed the last episode about three weeks ago and there are five progs in the pipeline. I should have some TX dates in the next few weeks.

Im sure the la9 flew here before it went to New Zealand so would not be a type never seen here flying which is what the first post infers
keith skilling flew it at flying legends not long after its rebuild in new zealand.
I’d always thought it was a Mk.XVI that donated its wings to MK356. AB910’s wings were rebuilt following the ground collision with the Harvard back in the 1980s.
Happy (and probably!) proved wrong, though!
MK356 does indeed have the wings from a mk16 and until its rebuild by arc had a merlin 266 fitted making it in theory a mk16.Its now fitted with the correct merlin 63

Good to know that it still survives unlike the beverley which i think was scrappedsome years ago?
