certainly is, as per easyjet specifications.
Due to them packing in as many seats as possible, an extra overwing exit was required, due to evacuation guidelines.
I was not aware of this. Now I am.
I think that livery is very above average. Is that top one an A319 with 2 overwing exits?
I will be at both locations at various points this summer. I’m down for either location, and both are good. I’m not quite familiar with the spots on the perimeter of FRA, however.
LOL! classic Austin Powers!!!
Indeed! I see you approve.
You should be ok with an electric. By the where, what’s BIQ?
To my best knowledge the location of that bridge is right along the taxiway to the new runway, as you said.
Thanks for that. Even though it might take a while, I just might have to make the trek out there.
Im flying with Lufthansa, who you flying with?
Lufthansa, of course! Star Alliance, baby! You have quite a layover right there. Come to think of it, I have a long one myself at 2.5 hours. Plenty of time to have some free booze in the lounge, maybe find the observation deck and do some spotting. π
He might as well be coming in perpendicular to the runway.
“Hey, he kinda looks like a baby……I’m higher on the foodchain than you, get in my belly!”
Unfortunately I don’t. Hopefully Peter will be online later and I’m sure that he will be able to help out.
He’s already told me where it is, and how to get there. I just wanted to get a visual.
Fantastic photos, Skycruiser. I was not aware that you guys had to operate the Cargo flights, as well. I thought airlines such as CX, SQ, NW, JL, etc. that have pax and cargo divisions, employed 2 different sets of pilots for pax flights and cargo flights. Interesting to see some of the items on the palates.
Talking about VS liking 4×4’s, they’ve been talking to Boeing about buying at least 20 777-3ER’s.
The 773ER would look very above average in the VS livery!
lets hope VS have forgiven Airbus for the start-up problems on their first batch of 346’s.
What types of problems were these? The same that Iberia are allegedly having?
but provided I stuck to watching planes all day and not purchasing βservices?β off the local women or stuffing myself on the space cakes she was OK.
When in Amsterdam, I choose to partake in 2 of the 3 aforementioned activities. π
Or you drank that giant six pack in the first shot (lol) π
Damn you Allen! You commented on the giant six pack before I! I do approve how Graham subtlely got those Heinekens in there along with the Schiphol Airport sign.
Back to aviation, I took the ‘tour’ with Peter when I was in AMS last year, Graham. the only place I didn’t get taken to is that bridge over the canal near the new runway. Any idea where that is in the overhead shot you showed?
I could do with some new shelves to be honest, probably have to wait til I move to my new place. As for dusting… I just give them a quick dunk under the tap. π
I have so many plastic models, all of which collect dust. Can I run those plastic models under the tap? It’s been so long since I dusted them, it’s probably inbedded in there. I have about 4 shelves dedicated to them. I also have about 40 I haven’t put together yet.
I would not trsut the german fans during the EU 2004. Simply because Germany will be gone after loosing 3 games. The team is so crappy.
I wouldn’t classify them as crappy. With the exception of the final game, they looked pretty good in the World Cup.
I can not recommend wearing a Dutch shirt when watching the game in Germany.
I will take that advice and leave the Dutch jersey in the hotel room. I will bust it out when I get to Portugal, and when I watch them play Latvia in Bragga.
