My point is why you need missles when you have nuclear power? Not any wise country gonna attack you when they know you have nuclear capability.

Its certainly not made to be exploded within the country its ment to be used against the offensive nation. One mean was throught air force which is not reliable any more considering the numerical indifference and sometime the unability not to go more then a certain limit. Thus a need was for another delivery machanism was needed to counter states which can pose a problem from range more then that of our aircraft range of attack.

Íf muslims wants us to respect their religion as holy matter, dont you think that best way of doing it is to attack against our similar ‘holy’ value of freedom? Aka blaiming the whole nation and its leadership for the ill deed, burning down embazyes and threathening to kill people….like someone said, douple standards…Muslims should understand us if they require us to understand them. And no excuse gives them a reason to wiggle their way out of it….

Talking about double standards, here is a recent example to refresh how the world is out there in real rather then in your mind.
Austria, the incumbent president of EU, has strongly backed Denmark in row over blasphemous cartoons. Along with other members of EU, Austria also states that freedom of speech is more important than respect for religious beliefs.

Let us now see the other side of the picture.

On November 11, a famous Austrian writer David Irving was arrested on a warrant issued agianst him, charging him with the crime of denying some part of holocaust. Irving faces 10 years in prison because he, in his book “The Hitler’s War” wrote that most of jews who died at concentration camps such as Auschwitz succumbed to diseases such as typhus rather than execution carried by Nazis. He also mentioned that Hitler didnt know much about Holocaust process and he had no intention of exterminating jewish popoulation on such a massive scale.

Yes right here you have a person excercising his right of freedom of speech n gets 3 years in prison. It was not even a religious matter which he voiced his views against n yet the ever so tolerrant and pro freedom of speech world put the man behind bars… Let me get this straight??? freedom of speech meanz ” We can say what every we want to against u and NOOOOO you can not say anything against us.”

And who is the threat to Pakistan? India? well they both have nuclear capability i dont think they gonna fight anymore in full scale.

It often boils down to common sense. However, physical actions often differ from more abstract actions like oral or written expressions. It’s often a lot harder to ignore or avoid something physical, especially if somebody decides to park his/her car in your front yard, than to ignore an oral or written insult (although I guess this is very subjective).

Ummm lets see, Israel targeting palestines leadership with target assisnation, US bulling Iran to aquire nuclear technology for peaceful purpose, Iraq invaded as a result of WMD ( Weapon of Mass Deception), dear friend they all started with a mere suggestion a written article and then became physical realities. Isnt this enough evidence to represent a series of actions which result into something. Yes incase of the Danish incident it could be merely just it.. Or may b it was start of another conspiracy who knowz.

Yes definately agreed. So dear how do you get to understand us?? I hardly think the masses take time to pay a visit to these so called Fundamentalist countries to see an insight into their thinking? Since ur acting so naive lets give another example. The Catholic n the Protestants ( i know a thin line and shall to be careful with utmost respect).
The same old routine, they march every time been done from ages n yet there r bloody voilance between them causing loss of precious life. Isnt it the west were moral values, freedom of expression, self morality, ,moral ethics and in some cases personal understanding is at its highest.
The point underline is dear when it comes to faith, many thingz change. Its an example within the same Religion but yet a minor differences of belief so how u think the reaction would be when ur dealing with two differing frame set of beliefs.

Rationality sometimes is not in understanding rather then in restraining. The Newspaper if would have shown restraint on his part even if not having good understanding of the implications i guess its automatic, non of this would have happened. Yet saying all this, I guess its my wishful thinking. Ill like to add my voice by saying wish we could if not understand then restrain by not doing things which can cause conflicts within us.
PS: No my religion does not allow me to make cartoons in response of one so i guess the non physical reply goes out of the window.

Yes point well taken. Let me explain the point in a much more easier way.
By refering to the cartoons drawn regarding jews etc stuff in the muslim media is counterd by the jews, us, western media regarding the so called terrorists which are a threat to your values. 1 to 1 we stand equal, Does the muslim media blame your religion for it/?
Ny muslim media showing the problems caused by the Prophets Like Jesus or Prophet Joseph?? i dont think so.. So by jumping into that domain they have crossed the line. Its necessary to understand this difference in calling you bad n calling your faith bad.
The point made in muslim media that the true teaching of every other religion are 100% in accordance with Islam, its only that when the true values are ignored that there is a conflict created. Nywayz i hope in my humble try to put forward my point of view.

Dear All,
Though i am new to the forum but yet currently updated to what ever is going on. As per as the matter is discussed much has been already discussed an every1 has try to make his own point clear. Being a Muslim i guess let me add my voice to the whole scenario.
Freedom is good and useful untill it concerns you. You park your car in your neighbours front yard coz you have the freedom and you enjoy it ( i hope got the point). Same goes for the freedom for speech. As per your lack of understanding to the reaction generated across the muslim world might b due to the fact of unawarness into the thinking of understaing of Islam as religion.
To make it broad not just stick to one religion, lets call it faith, idealogy, belief or what ever. You have to have 1 to understand 1. The point is you knowz the do’s n do’nts in case of you beliefs thus similarly one should have the respect for others. Yes these points have already been made but let me add one more dimension to this topic, as you probably know by now that bounties have been put on the heads of the culprits guess its right if one has the right to call a Guy living in a cave in some mountain the biggest threat to humanity and putting a reward in millions of dollars on his head, why not if same is done from the muslim world , considering the blashmy against the religion.
