I guess nobody wants to live in fear. US constant threats to North Korea and its actions against Iraq and Afghanistan made it absolutely necessary for NK to go Nuclear. I guess KIM acheived on goal and that was to “take him seriously”. Time shall tell if it was for the good of NK or for the worse.
The only thing anything happens in politics is by leaks, some people do it to bring some attention to a project that they’re working on and other leaks are given out by the people who then say that they have no idea where the leak came from and that there will now be a full investigation. Everyone’s just playing the game.
Intresting point raised their Kicks. I would agree someone in the chain of command is not happy with the rules of engagement and leaked the information to ensure certain “no engage” rules could be changed to all out “Beat the S#!% out”.
Dear Members,
How much i would like to laugh regarding the moral war ethics is on one side, but the authenticity of this particular news item is on the other side. Here is why i think the stated gathering was for funeral.
1. In the muslim funeral, there must always be odd number of rows. FIVE in this particular case.
2. The Guide( one who lead the funeral) can be seen infront of the body( though faint but recognizable).
I would like to point according to my own judgement this indeed is a funeral procession. I stop at this and does not speculate regarding the identities of the people who were involved (Taliban or Pro Gov).
If i remember one of the Gov Official was taken down by the Taliban and during his funeral, as reported Taliban guy k within the funeral explode himself. May very well be that the UAV launched a missle into the gathering and put it on Taliban.. Who knows anywayz i leave the result for you guys to deduce.
So considering the break down presented by Nick_76 would you be kind enough to give us according to your understanding the timeline under which you think this BVR Astra would be ready to be handed over to the Airforce or potential buyers (if any/ gov decision).
According to your analysis, writing the software now is the most important task left and other tasks can be subcontracted.
Gentlemen lets not shadow this thread by discussing what happened between russians and Chechens. Its a request, i hope its taken in the right light. Thanks
Well the guy claiming to have defeated Israel is in hiding somewhere. Usually leaders who have won a victory have the courage to make their speech live in front of the adoring crowd.
US of A, the super power of the world. I remember watching puzzled President of United States GWB addressing the nation from an underground bunker right after a couple of CIVIL planes hit key areas in NY and Washington DC.
Make a speech live infront of adoring crowd…… gives new meaning to the term BRAVE LEADER
The ground reality of this conflict pretty much provides evidence that no substantial progress is possible without Army personnel presence in the concerned area. By your defination the Israel agenda of conducting the war is “Lets bomb them and they bomb us and wait till one of the party goes out of ammo (by the way it was Israel which was asking for weapon support from USA during the conflict).
Anyways considering the outcome of the war the point made is clear that Israel knew what kind of force they were facing, yet still continue to go ahead with the tactics and end up getting screwed up big time (This is considering the progress acheived vs damage sustained). Either their is serious problem in the strategy of conducting a war or they started it to loose it.
Nywayz i dont need to further it, within their own administration questions are raised at various level regarding the manner the conflict was conducted.
PS: During the early days when one of the tank got hit by ATGM, i think their was enough time to rethink the strategy rather then going in with same and ending up with more losses.
The point the Gentleman is trying to make is not regarding the Military strategy of cutting down of infantry by using Armour, but rather the mere fact that the Might Myth of Merkava-4 is smoked (guess what its caught on Video as well)
Well USAF, opperating 5th generation fighters. They have stealth technology and can penetrate mulitlayers of well defended targets. Thats the bar when they compare other technologies with. So my friend dont be mislead by this phrase of being unable to operate in well defended areas. In Pakistan, India scenario, with both not having stealth technology at hand, this is status quo for quite sometime. After this current sales, again nothing has changed in that regard. You will have to take risk while on the offensive. Considering PAF as repeatedly mentioned that they posses minimum deterence and mostly are acting as a defensive force. This deals pretty much changes nothing on their part. Thanks
I am sure any of the PAF a/c including the A-5 are quite capable of delivering nuclear payload.
Spot on WisePanda. I like to mention that during the early times when Pakistan did not possessed a formidable Ballistic missile force. The only way to ensure success during a conflict with India was a nuclear strike using F-16. US is on record of suspecting wind tunnel testing of F-16 in Kamara.
Enjoy the ban mate 😉
If a ban is given, there is a reason.I’ll add to this that double IDs are not allowed. All “new” nicknames you’ll create during the duration of your ban will get deactivated.
See you in 2 weeks.
I wonder who has the last laugh. Atleast for the next two weeks 😀
Now where in all this document do you find sub standard technology being sold to Pakistan? The legal bindings were there during the Afghan war aswell. The report only proves reservations of the US Administration going with the deal. I am sure they would do this incase of every sensitive deal.
i was away for few days, when i came back it was locked by the mods. so couldnot use it – not to mention my nic which is banned ( old anza nics).
So your trying to get back in the game by sensational topics and with no source what so ever to back it??? Sorry to bust your bubble mate but you just lost all respect.
Its official – Pak F16s are to be sub-standard and threat to the national security of Pakistan
The credibility of your post went down the drain when you failed to quote any source of ur information. Giving you another chance to prove what you say. Give a source of your information as so far it seems your just copying material without credible sources to back it.
July 5, 2006 (by Lieven Dewitte) – Last week U.S. Congress was notified of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Pakistan F-16 aircraft as well as associated equipment and services. Here is a detailed list of this potential sale along with some of the controversies it might create.

Well Anza the credibility of your claim had gone down the drain when you fail to quote any source for your post. Giving you a second chance to prove your point. Please come with a valid source to back your claim. So far it seems your copying material rather then producing facts. Thanks
