CVF will be a huge asset but JSF should have been a European thing between us, the Spanish and the Italians. This would have been a lot better.

And cost us a lot more than the 2 bill we paid to get in on the action. The only way we could have gone properly without the JSF is to have bought the Rafeal from the french and gone conventional.

strange bunch indeed.

Ok what dates do people have in regards to them refloating the carrier and her moving under her own propulsion?

Im going with after the recent changes – June 2010.

Looked the image a fair bit and im pretty sure its the real thing.

and that would be a good reason to have her in dry dock.

I dont believe for a minute that they are only working on the Island at this point in time. I really do believe that by Feb/March next year we will be talking about when will she be launched?

and one of the containers that could be added to the back of these babies is this!!

just need to change my C2 design to be able to take a container now 😐 31miles is great to be able to offer limited shore attack.

fantastic stuff. I wonder if they have sorted out the engines yet or if this is still to come.
