Edited as I had it the wrong way around

Does that aircraft look metal framed to me?… If so it can’t be a IIID as this was wooden framed.. Anyway according to Wikipedia they almost all had Lions
So I must be an IIIF

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairey_III

We know it has to be on or after 1929…. and before 1935

    OK For starters:

23 Apr 1930 S1201 Fairey IIIF Crashed Heliopolis, Egypt

Why would you want a flying Mosquito in a DB remake?

You would need one if you wanted to tell the end of the story with the death of Guy Gibson…

I just noticed.. As somoene else has already posted

Thanks for looking this up for me…. Looks like the C/N’s do fit the known gap but are not consecutive……. As first thought!

There was an article on these a few months back in Air Enthusiast with a couple of photos of the ones still in Eritrea. I do not kno how old the photos were though!

Mark 12 – are you sure it’s not the elusive Dutch trainer IX?

Anyway, you can clearly see that the shoe box are for American basket ball playing … So technically it should be a Sneaker IX

There were supposedly six Weston-on-the-Green frames. Serials for the six are documented, but there is no tie-up to the surviving frames.
    E2624 at Hendon
G-AANM/D7889 – HAC (WOTG frame, substantial parts from D7889)
G-ACAA/D8084 – TFC (WOTG frame, parts from F4516)
    B4 in Brussels
    frame with VAHF, Texas
    frame at Omaka, NZ[/url]

    Thanks

Also, do you know the other 3 serials???? Also didn’t Bob Ticketts (not sure of name) say he had bits from WOG as well – Or is this the Omaka frame?

And in this case, you do not need an ISO Container to rock up to Duxford on an HGV..

Even Parcel Farse can easily deliver one of these….

Could it be Mark 1 X4818 which crashed in River Humber near Goole on 14/07/43 after being shot down by another Spitfire (aka Blue on Blue)
