The wristbands are also at the Battle of Brittain Memoral Caple le Fern near Folkstone.
They took deivery of some while I was in the UK and just befor I became sick.
And when I say sick its bad real bad I have a Chemo resistant cancer but i wil stil try when I can to keep my finger on the pulse with them.
The man that helps me Barrie is a few years older and he he does not think as fast as me so I am one step ahead of him LOL.
I heard that the foundation stone will be laid on the 12 May VE day and the opening shold be for VE day 2012 if I head it correct. So if you are in London and in green park you should after the wedding be able to see how its progressing.
Photos would be nice also for those that are not in London.
A Sqn of Hornets from the USA would be a option, they are already in use by the US Navy at the moment and we do not have a Carrier, so we would have to use theirs.
And if we sent Pilots to train on them it would be the Cheapest option till we have a Carrier of our own, thats if they still go ahead.
A short video in the Cockpit of the CWH Mynarski Lancaster in Canada the second Lancaster that can spread her wings and fly as she was made to do.

I found it on this site Classic Cockpits I have no idea if it is already on this site.
After reading this
The Bomber Command Memorial is not only for his comrades that did not make it to see the end of WWII.
It is also for men like this man that help modern day veterans with PTSD.
He had one of the most dangerouse jobs on a wartime Bomber (tail gunner) life expectancy 5-10 missions if that.
This man must have done 50+ missions to get his DFC.
This after noon I received this email from Charlotte at Visit Lincolnshire.
We would like to thank Charlotte and all the people that have have done this
for us.
More so to Charlotte because from March she will have to find other employment due to lack of funding.
I wish her all the best in what ever the future holds.
Afternoon Charles,
Just a short email to let you know we have highlighted the wrist band sales on the official aviation website for Lincolnshire. We have also written a blog entry and have placed a news article on the website.
I thought you would like to know for your evaluation.

I am sorry to say they do not have a website at the moment.
I had a lot of email address on the books before the winter and I can not remember if they was one of them.
Thanks for the tip I willl give them try.
We just received our new stock of wristbands today from the factory, we have to get them a thousand at a time at the moment. We do it like this till we can build up enough funds to be able to place a larger order.
As you know we was only funded for the first thousand, after that they have to fund them selves and also raise funds for the Memorial.
So the person that asked for some wristbands to offer them for us, will be pleased to hear that they should be with you as soon as we can.
We will send a mail when they are in the post to you.
Try this link its a large one for you
Thanks JDK
We just hope that we can get photos of all the crew one day.
The Dutch lady would love to see the man in the grave, she sees him not as a WWII Air gunner more like a brother.
This is the lady that looks after the grave of Flt Sgt Hiscox and has done so for 45 years.
In the photo she is standing with 3 Air Gunners after she had recieved a large photo of a Lancaster from Air Cdr C Clarke OBE.
