Bad news man.It’s always sad when you lose a furry friend.I’ve always had cats and,when the time comes to say goodbye,the tears flow.As mentioned earlier,how’s about taking in a “rescued” cat.My latest,Freddy,was rescued from death’s door ( by our local cat protection league ) and was slated to be put down because he was diagnosed as FIV+ ( cat AIDS ).He’s a 6 year old ginger tom and has put up with me for the past 6 months.Have to keep him indoors,of course,for the fear of spreading FIV or he contracting a bug,which his “totally shot” immune system can’t handle.So that’s 6 months ( and counting ) playtime and funtime a lot of people didn’t want him to have.

But when the feck is it coming out over here?! 🙁

No idea,but,for what it’s worth,it’s opening in Australia in February,so it looks like Steve or TT will have to check it out for us.BTW,where have Robbo’s posts on this film gone :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ?

Finally got around to see Borat:Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
By posing as a clueless journalist from Kazakhstan on a road trip across America,Sacha Baron Cohen inadvertently(???) exposes the racism and bigotry that still runs rampant throughout the US of A.
This film is downright hysterical and makes it one of the rare comodies in movie history that actually has something to say.

My week-end movie plans went out of the window when a mate at work lent me the TV Series ( sadly cut short ) Firefly.Only caught a couple of episodes when first shown on Sky.Why did I not put myself out to see the rest:confused: .It’s adult Sci-fi imho.When shown in the states,they agreed,because three episodes were banned but,fear not,all 14 are included on the 4 dvd’s and in the correct order.It also led onto a feature film Serenity which is well up to standard.The Firefly fanbase is very active and keeps poking the FOX,just to remind them that there’s lots of us out here that want more.

Meanwhile a Heads Up on another kick-@rse movie Ong Bak 2 😉
