    Flying as normal.

Can only be a matter of time before other operators are effected by this.

If you ground one type be it P-40, spitfire etc, does it not put other operators of the same type in the same position with the CAA?

Or is it not a level playing field here?

lets hope its nothing serious and that its been taken off to check that everything went alright and that there no trace of metal in the oil?

Must be bad to take the engine off.

You can check the filters for traces of metal.

I would imagine that was done after the first run.

    Do they have another spare?

I think it is getting harder to get the CAA approval for these A/C now. Maybe this is part of the reason for selling these rarer machine on? I am sure someone will confirm or contradict this.

I will be a great shame to see this rare bird leave. Make the best of it before she goes

Nice aeroplane, thanks to all at TFC who gave us the chance to see it fly.

I wonder which one will be next to go?

On the plus side TFC have another Flying sea fury on the way.

John also highlighted the problems that the flight have been having with their Centaurus engines and i’m sure there are many others like me that hope they overcome them so the Furies can be seen performing again.

Do TFC have a serviceable engine for their Sea Fury?

AND The Fighter Collections’ F22 (PK624 is it?) one day!

Why has this aircraft sat for so long with no work being done on it?

It was bought out of storage a few years back and nothing has been done.

As it is the only hope of seeing a late mark Spitfire it is a shame it is not being worked on.
