now thats a rarity !! a Attacker… if i had it, it wouldnt be gathering dust.. what a beauty.. surely worth saving, being there is only one of the type left in the uk.. as far as i am aware ??
any idea what the larger panel is underneath??

as for a piccy of Gay lady.. try these people, they can surely help 🙂
Mark, very interesting.. would love to know more 🙂
i did think T.7 .. but didnt want to say .. hmmm.. could be ??
yes.. and a great site it is too. the cockpitfest site.. one of my faves. but there are many dealers with relics, parts to offer, salvage dealers too, who do not use the site.
i know its a big undertaking.. but have you seen the milweb set up, look at say deactivated guns in the classifieds, helmets etc, they change almost daily.. and its become one of the main sites to atract people who collect miltaria, as they also have most of the dealers details online too
it seems really a purely for sales, and wants website , from a t55 tank to a set of spanners,
it was just a idea, good or bad.. is crossed my mind from time to time 🙂
that main panel looks interesting.. any ideas, …it interest me, as i am sure ive seen simaller before …. but cant remember where ??..
anything else there need good homes???. any use to individuals and museums ?? Spares ??..
what are the panels from.. is one of them meatbox ??
and can you remember what sort of engine is there, is it Piston, jet, APU, ??
is that a he111 u/c leg i see… and what are those interesting instrument panels all dusty a un-loved 😀
problem is , they are huge, the gay class pictured above, has a 20 ft width, and 75ft length.
its cost him his home , he sold that so he could get this boat done, its a small fortune, and thats by doing all or most of the work himself, and a small team,
i noticed another MTB in the river By exeter last night coming home from work, but i thinks she is a later model,..there was a museum in southampton, the british powerboat trust, sadly, they were closed down and moved on,
but alot of there relics still survive, notably a PT boat at duxford :D.
i nearly got hold of one myself, a seaplane tender, at 42ft length, in a terrible state, but i left a letter on her deck, but shortly after she was broken up.. i never even got a call :(…. this was about 4 years ago
she is working, however, she now has 2 detroit v12 diesels,. and is in the process of adding a third .. when you give her some welly.. she planes out of the water.:diablo:. 75 tons dont half shift when 2 or 3 v-12 engines are going at full chat … but she dont get out much.. the fuel bill is a little steep 😀
beautiful aircraft..thanks for posting these lovely photo’s
🙂
Many Thanks, Keithnwsome 😀
at least something survives… i really thought they were extinct, its a shame as its allmost like the hurricanes little brother,..
Anyone else ever seen bits of one, or recovered one ??:D
thank god for that, if they can manage to keep one in tip top condition, i take my hat off to the great men .. and ladies, at Brunty 🙂
wish i had a garden to put one of them in 🙂 i was offered one a while ago, they are huge , shame cos i love the VC10 :):D
not a wessex… but simaller .. a german S-58 .. nicely restored and flown.. sounds nice with that radial starting up :):D
