Some nice shots there. I like the smoking Travel City and the EZY going out with nice squashed in busy background. And of course the Iceair. Love these 757s with winglets on the approach. They look like tightrope walkers.
    Great light on it too.

Some nice shots in there. Didn’t realise there were so many OK spots through the glass without tint and mankyness. If I go there and the wx turns out bogging, the toon and the pub grabs my attention.

Well done sir! Nice action shot …. and I like the haze from the engines as well as the smoke.

Nice selection of shots there !!

That “Up Munster” RYR pig. SPLAT. That’s what the guy gets for standing on the runway eh ?

What size of steps do you need to clear the hyperfence ? I haven’t been there since they put it up. Wouldn’t like to head over only to find I can’t clear the big green thing!!

Well, the ΠœΡ€ΠΈΡ holds 300,000 Kg of fuel. Find out how much one of the big bowsers at PIK holds. Someone down there could probably ask the fuelers.

    Si

It would be nice to be able to crop the First Choice a bit but it wouldn’t work without the quality deteriorating. My digi is 5 MP so any more cropping and it would look like a teabag. The whole pic is about the cloud anyway with the 757 just a passing feature. Agreed though, a bit more of a crop would be good too IF achievable.

Who says aviation shots always need to show the entire aircraft?!

They don’t when it works well composition-wise.

On first show I’d have included the full winglet (but maybe that wasn’t possible – maybe something in the way, or having reached the extent of the lens). Last shot of the 747 is good – I’d definitely have included the whole tug, it being of the same airline and colours. Shots with planes, tugs, steps and other ground equipment all of the same airline are great.

    Cheers,

    Woody

Great selection of shots there Kenny. So, you’re getting to grips with the camera after all! Post some of the AN225 from PIK on Monday. Is the
Stagecoach in one of the pics ??

I like the EZY A319 lifting off at Bristol. Good action and perspective background. Also like the BA tails.

Gawn yersell Rab. Favourite shot among this selection is the KLM. Great light & colour.

Was the mad black dug out sniffing around up at Yonderton ? That’s a maddie that dug…. friendly big geyser but just a tad too generous with its slabbers.
