Ha. That Empost would certainly confuse the reggie spotters. By the time they realise there IS no reg on the fuselage and start scouring other parts, it has scurried off round the corner before the top of the tail is checked.
Good uns there Si.
I like the Hornet on approach with everything dangling.

It’s an Airbus
Some good shots there Rab. Peeing ddon from the Hee-ens on Saturday morning ? I don’t believe a word of it. It NEVER rains up here. Ayye right!
Saw the chinook departing mid afternoon Sunday as I passed on the motorway. Just disappeared into the clattery stour at about 200 feet (if even).
I like the Globespan shot. That’s a great background.
As for the Air Berlin fawwwwkers. Yup … another airline driven away (but not by THIS side of the route I believe). Anyway, good to see EZY starting
to CDG. Hopefully that will last. Definitely on the cards for me!!
US Airways mark on nose… yup, VERY likely flaked paint. Couple of years ago one (at least) of the 767s that operated to GLA looked like the side had scraped along a rough cast wall.
In fact here’s the very one. Happened to be standing there with the wee pocket digi one of the days it went by. August 2004.

I like the Etihad from slightly behind. Nice one. Great dynamic angle.
The London night shots are great. Best times of day to take night shots are just when you did … before the sky gets completely dark and the shape of the skyline disappears into nocturnal obscurity.

Nice selection of shots. So clear and blue in some of the shots. The TAP with the blue sea behind has nice colour.
Great colours in the one of the yacht & lighthouse. Have a try at making it letterbox format and it’ll have even more impact.
When I saw one of the shots I wondered why it was so out of focus. Then, when I looked more closely I saw that there was a tern there as the point of focus. Just sitting there keeping an eye on its town.
Nice wee trip for you. It looks so peaceful over there !
The airbus at sunrise is very nice !
Woody
Nice bunch of shots there. British Jet is the biz. Great evening light and background.
What was the Air Italy about then ? A charter, or sub-charter ? Or am I missing something and they come in all the time ?
Woody
Nice shots Kenny. Love the sunny shots with dark sky, but my fav is the Thomson 757 landing

Indeed Mr Manston Airport, the hornet is Finnish Air Force.
Or Ilmavoimat to give it the correct Finnish title.

Especially liked the B2 shots, Fairford seems to be the only place it appears in the UK.
Now that IS stealth technology at its finest! I don’t even SEE a B2.
We really should be taking this global warming seriously. I mean look how far in the coastline has come! All the way to the Cotswolds already.
😀
Nice shots there Rab, esp the Twin Otter. Lucky to get that landing in the evening sun as they tend to fly through the day. Training flight returning perhaps ?
Good yins Scotty. The Central Wings stoateth! Nice one.
Good to see the Evergreen Supertanker still exists. All I have is a shot with the wee Olympus compact digi in January. Grotty day of course!

Some nice shots there Jamie. A lot of these “bits of planes” shots don’t work … it is all the rage these days with the digi folk and a lot of the time they don’t review the results to see if they really work. The Onur Air WORKS!
Just right there with the smokey action. I’m still chasing that green FlyBE Dash 8. Much of the time WORK gets in the way but on Sunday the River Festival got in the way. Also haven’t shot the Virgin at GLA. That would have been good getting out on 05 in the sun. Call me a slacko then. 🙂
