Not the first time XM715 has seen some off road action, it ran out of runway at St Mawgan (a feat in itself:D) at the airday in 1975 & ended up on the grass.
Impressive vids those:cool:
In all seriousness I would just rather use the right tools if I can obtain them.
I’ll see what I can find lying about the place;)
Its quality kit Dr, Insurance jobby!:)
About blinking time! Took a flood of biblical proportions first, mind you:rolleyes::D
Paggey old boy, having had first hand experience of the quality (or lack of it) of your pound shop tool kit I would suggest you take up Bruce’s suggestion of taking a (non-pound shop:rolleyes: ) screwdriver to a grinding wheel (again of a non-pound shop variety), plus of course minding your fingers.
Job then should be a good’un ![]()
A couple I took a little while back.

Actualy given this some thought, & besides from the usual aircraft books that you find in the school library & various annuals you get given for Christmas/Birthdays, I have selected this one-
My late fathers Flying Log Book from his time on Wellingtons in WWII, clearly remember him showing me all his trips & regaling me with with tales of daring do.

When I look back now I wonder just how many litres of F34 FSII I chucked away in the waste tanks after drain offs & hose flushes:o
Still, it was a big firm….
Looks easier to get into than WD954 Baz;)
Seen this clip?
The camera man almost had a short back & sides for his trouble.
How about doing it in Luftwaffe markings like the ones they captured, bet no one has done that before, hows that for thinking out of the box? Eh Baz;)
Just thinking about this today, good news it’s being saved, looked at the tower today from “our side” of the fence when driving past what used to be ASMT :(, planned to report that it was still standing:D

I did visit today, in my P51;)
Pretty mundane sort of picture, but I took it from the cab of an S26 refueller on my way to one of my very last refuelling tasks at St Mawgan.

No throttles for the Pilots…..even the Griffons? 😮
Don’t panic, the drivers had throttles for the Griffons.:D
