More tails, Air Scandic Airbus awaits it’s load of Celtic supporters.
One of many Spanair flights to be seen…
My Travel DC-10…
Britannia/Tui with Employee of the Year graphic by the nose, well done Phil Slaney whoever you are ?
Virgin Express 737, looking a little sun bleached.
GB Airways Airbus…
An Astraeus charter, hopefully not via Cardiff this time…
Here’s a few more, I’m off for some more Pepto Bismol !
An EAL 737 chartered to PIK.
Not EAL as I first thought, but an Air Atlanta 747 just stripped of BA graphics by the look of it. One of several operating on behalf of the Celtic charters to GLA/PIK ?
It was being pulled round to the cargo area for pre flight stuff. Bmi Baby 737 in the foreground.
An EAL 747 on a fans charter along side two of three mothballed Iberia DC-10’s far on the other side of the airfiled. The DC-10’s were all at the cargo area when we arrived on Monday.
G-MONE that took me to Malaga and back again.
Testing for filesize… a couple of tall tales at Malaga on Thursday, more to follow.
I’m back from the longest shift in my career. I must have had about 16 hours sleep between Sunday and Thursday night and today a nice case of “Spanish Tummy” to keep me housebound.
Didn’t get to Seville Airport due to seriously long work commitments, but enjoyed watching various charters and private jets circling over the city waiting to come down. Malaga Airport was fairly quiet on arrival on Monday, but much better on departure.
Didn’t get as many pics taken as I would have liked, but got some good stuff on departure, including a pair of EAL 747’s, one of which had just been stripped of it’s BA graphics and logo’s. This was being tugged from a remote stand to the terminal as I arrived.
Also in presence were an EAL 737-200, some Iberia buses/757’s, Air France, A320, a couple of Virgin Express 737’s, Aer Lingus various and the usual UK charter lines to including a My Travel DC-10 to name but one.
Once I get the pics processed I’ll have a few to show on here. Here’s one from the window on the digi camera on the way in as we turned over the med for final into Malaga.
Cheers for the pic,
PH-AHS was at GLA last night when I got back from Spain and I snapped it from domestic arrivals. It does have an interim look about it, but only if you know that it’s an interim scheme, if you get my drift.
