    Has the engine returned yet?

can’t wait for this to take to the skies. Must have had that engine in the US for 4-5 years now?

    Great news indeed.

From what i can gather, red 7 is the only EADS machine that could cross the channel to the uk due to the way its registered. I’m not too sure how or why so don’t ask!!!

Is the fw190 an EADS machine as well then?

    3 me 109’s, a me262 and an fw 190 in formation………….

Jesus, how much more money does this bloody plane need!! I have loved the vulcan ever since my dad took me to my first airshow, but the constant begging for cash has got a bit tiresome to say the least.

Give it to something more deserving like the BBMF

I don’t think it has been sold. It was always due at chino to have a complete tear down after it was brought from sweden. You know what Mr grey is like for 100% originality!

He certainly doesn’t do things by halves thats for sure….

it may be a case of putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 27!!!!!

and from the TFC profile on her:

The long term plan is to carry out an in depth restoration to return her to wartime configuration ,however for the time being, the airframe is being reconditioned so we can fly her during the coming season. A repaint is being planned, and through friends in the USA we have been fortunate in contacting ‘Bill’ Davis’s family and we hope to present a more detailed account of her life in a further update.

It may be for flight testing once all the work is done. Out of curiousity, under whose name is twilight tear registered to in the states. I’m assuming mr Hinton?

    That’s a real shame.
