I wanted to ask this for a while, I will ask this here rather than making a new thread for it. With the F 2 having its roots in the F 16, why did they not go for the frame less bubble canopy of the F 16 ?
The F 16 canopy was considered too weak in case of a birdstrike………
Congrats to Balu, I think he has posted the most read thread this year?
Cheers, mate!
Good work Balu. The increased separation requirements will surely inconvenience small operators.
thx for the flowers, but another user in another forum actually did the work!
The same kind of people who can afford a G 550 or 650, a BBJ or something in the same class………….
Well, from the standpoint of aviation enthusiasts, let us hope the best for the now given timeline and for a successful flight, and let others handle the politics…..
Don’t worry I am as eager as you to see this baby get off the ground.
Well, yes it´s about time, isn´t it??
To speculate a little bit
, I think that Boeing will not let Airbus get away with the last big maiden flight of the year……..
Gents please note that it says “Keep checking back for updates…”
Yes you are right. Sorry´bout that.
Did I say anything doubting that?
Paul
Of course not!
Well, I don´t think, that they come out with this announcement, after all the drawbacks of the past, without being quite sure about the definite timeline for the maiden flight……
The announcement sounds quite official…….
I’m amazed that this event has generated so little traffic on this forum. Are people adopting a wait-and-see attitude?
More than likely……..:)
