I wanted to ask this for a while, I will ask this here rather than making a new thread for it. With the F 2 having its roots in the F 16, why did they not go for the frame less bubble canopy of the F 16 ?
The F 16 canopy was considered too weak in case of a birdstrike………
Well, from the standpoint of aviation enthusiasts, let us hope the best for the now given timeline and for a successful flight, and let others handle the politics…..
Well, I don´t think, that they come out with this announcement, after all the drawbacks of the past, without being quite sure about the definite timeline for the maiden flight……
, I think that Boeing will not let Airbus get away with the last big maiden flight of the year……..
