Playing around with my 3D printer.
Needs scale model flak positions going Pew Pew Pew and an Rc Lancaster doing flyovers..
Oooooooohhhhh 🙂
Off memory the radio operator and bomb aimer were given basic flight training as well.
Especially with working 20mms 😉
Amazing..What is the status of the original Butcher Bird builds worldwide I wonder?..
Funny thing about the printer, it can slightly alter the Z axis scale on different builds, which makes fitting these parts together more challenging. But I’ll get there.
You might be able to tweak the models a bit by slightly scaling it in the slicer program that you use.
Not wanting to drift but Sadsack, antics in groups like this are not uncommon sadly, Was in a museum group once, a new person appeared and in a short space of time stirred loads of trouble, a couple of long serving stalwarts were utterly and wrongly targetted. Eventually he left in a huff but caused damage, I tend not to be interested in any form of group another experience of the most utterly childish behaviour of jockeying for position and being acting as some sort of superior finished me
Its Universal Im afraid..museum I was a part of for 12 years had same thing happen.
Bit more on WIX and the Aerodrome..

Just saw it with the better half who before had no real experience with WW2 historical movies..
incredible story and enjoyed the fast moving pace and action.
Although a bit disjointed in following the timeline I swept the technical nitpicking aside and just enveloped myself in the storyline. It was more a suspense movie than I expected with the whole movie coming down to the one shot that I thought was engrossing. That was the admiral on the dock near the end when the Stuka appeared. That feeling of impending doom again that the troops would have faced during the week waiting on the beaches.
Aerial shots I think were beautifully done and gave some idea of the ballet opposing fighters orchestrated as they hung in the air trying to outrace and outmanouvered each other. It was waaaay better than watching CGI planes flying like an arcade game.
Auss I think.
A major nail in the coffin…Japanese researcher finds original photo dated 1935 in archives..No holiday..
