Agree with Bruce,
This airframe belongs in a museum. There are serveral collections of substantial Mossie bits with an identity around that are a perfect candidate for the Powell-treatment.

I did so too on my Halifax instrumentation but as mentioned you cannot go always “safe”. The cockpit is closed off for the public at the museum. But as the bfp panel is intended to be displayed in our livingroom I want to take no risks.
