Guess, it was G-AEHJ, a Heston Type 1 Phoenix
“This aircraft had a modified forward cockpit glazing that became standard for new-build Phoenix aircraft. It was used as a company demonstrator, and on 29 June 1936 was displayed at the SBAC show at Hatfield Aerodrome.”
Maybe the photo was taken here…
So this is your 1995 photo Hans?
Difficult to see from the photo whether it is anywhere near an airport or dumped by the side of the road. Away from an airport after fifteen years would suggest that it is not in existence. Would it be possible to do a google earth search for it?:)
Last time the problem with GE was that from Widelka only low resolution photos existed (2002 and 2004) 🙁
Can’t scan at that moment – will soon do and post 4 photos
POCONO
From the Indian word “Pocohanne” translated means “A stream between mountains.”
Guess it’s a special region of Pennsylvania.
Sorry, it wasn’t Sywell?

My thoughts exactly, sugging, frugging, rigging, rugging Dick Dastardly!
Guess it is some sort of early flying bomb as it appears to have no cockpit.
Could this be a cockpit?
