pilot ic(?) “your right it doesn`t fly like my cessna”
I would like to go some where I or my fiancée have never been. That is hard because my fiancée has been all over the world. We decided that we want to go to a place where we can relax because we both will need it after the wedding. We decided against Europe, Australia / New Zealand, and Asia because if we went to one of those places we would be running around trying to see everything that we would not be able to relax. My fiancée really wants to go to the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas but she has been to the Bahamas before and the Bahamas do not appeal to me at all. Has anyone ever went on vacation to Argentina or Chile? Places like that appeal to me more.
You want to relax, not rush anywhere? If I could do my honeymoon again i`d go for a slow boating holiday across Scotland starting in Inverness taking in Loch Ness. Beautiful scenery , enough to do but remote enough to relax and “be romantic”.

it doesn,t get any easier once you,ve bought your house either . I took out a morgage 7 years ago to house myself , wife and and then 10 yr old son. I bought the best i could to fit the familly and allow it to grow but it required work. I now have 2 equity loans and 98% of my income to cover the bills. Without the wife working two jobs we would have to sell. We don,t do holidays and had our first night out together for 18 months tonight.Add to that my son has recently passed his driving test and car insurance is £1500.00 or more. It,s a familly friendly culture we have in this country!!!!

In many an article written about the PFA rally, there is always the question as to why is it not the Oshkosh of Europe.Simply it is not advertised anywhere other than dedicated aviation magazines.Joe public is not informed of the events, there appears to be nothing to draw in the day tripper or casual on looker.
If the event is meant to generate money for the PFA then all people need to be included. This would mean turning the event into more of a regular airshow but with a bias to homebuilds. If it is meant to be a gathering of like minded people then the smaller local fly ins are the way to go, just dont expect to make large proffits.
Has anybody read this crap yet?

Yet another dig at Flying at Duxford.
Poor Neil Rix. They can’t even get his name right.
This latest crash and reports like the one above could not come at a worse time for Duxford. Both will only give credibillity to the latest narrow minded plan to open a motorway service station for the m11 at the and of the runway.Lets hope Dxford has a plan.
On another note , as a non-pilot(or should that be pilot in waiting)I find most reports into general aviation accidents tend to lead the uninitiated to speculate on the “what would have been the consequences if it happened in a built up area”.All reports seem to discard the fact that all aviation rules are aimed at minimising risk to the general public, whether it be at an airshow or at a remote airfield .In short it is easy to hype up an aircraft crash and overreact to it,whip up public outcry to promote a response thus perpetating the story,in turn selling more papers. All without any reguard for the consequences
it was becoming harder and harder to ignore calls for a runway extention at the local airport!!
sorry it was “what difference does it make” The Smiths.
an easy one then…..When I was younger, so much younger than today.
