I have to agree with moggy, if you really want to fly you will find a way. I recently got made redundant and fortunately recieved a decent payout. With this I am funding my training at the expense of a new kitchen. I realise I probably would have taken many more years to start without this injection of cash, but it also highlights the need for an understanding partner( she knows flying has been my lifes ambition and says it’s important to achieve this at the expense of other things) as the initial cost sounds crippling. like you I’m not sure how I’ll continue to fly after completing the training but i’m sure I’ll find a way, and would have meet many intersting people along the way. Best of luck, I hope you find a way to fund your flying!

As has been said before TG is entertainment. In this day of digital tv there is a huge choice of programmes to watch, covering all genres of life. I can watch what I want, when i want, be that Top Gear or loose women, depending on my mood. To take this “bill” to its extreme would all programmes need to be presented by presenters of both sexes, future bands need to have a mix of male and female performers,(no boy or girl groups. Ban the Beatles etc) all duets could only be male/female artists. Where will it end and will it lead to a more divided nation?

Thanks. The twin ignition system was expected, the rest makes sense too but then why would someone choose to modify and install an automotive unit to an aircraft. I can understand larger capacity engines being put into replica fighters but I have heard of nissan engines in vari-ez and bede bd-5’s.

Have to say the northrop f5 series of fighters including the f-20 tigershark will always win in my opinon. To continue the car analergies ,there not so much of the Opel/Vauxhall astra more a Lotus elise or Caterham 7.

probably didn`t kick off too much as they probably don`t have insurance. Any action against you will probably require exchanging their car insurance details with either the schools liability insurance or giving the details to the police if they report you.Could land them in more trouble than taking the hit.If they do have insurance it`s probably fully comprehensive so could claim for it any way.

I agree hare with Flex. Since US& World economy is so much depended on Oil. Capturing Middleast oil should be part of US military planning since world war 2. It is more important than stationing forces in EU/Japan/Korea combined.u cannot have second opinion about this. Imagine US has the right numbers and right equipment to stabilize Irak in 2003. by now Oil prices would be still around $20 a barrel. Oil price is linked to alot of commodities.

Irak barely can feed itself with its Oil. Production is far below compared to its potential. which is the single biggest failure that matters.
In 21st century Only those countries will be important who controls Natural resources. If u dont get this point ur own allies will abondon you.

I hope the F-22 is all it`s cracked up to be ,as with thinking like this war is inevitable. Buy more now, beef up the land forces and start building the bunkers. Personally I`d prefer to have these countries as allies through peacefull means rather than think about “capturing” them.

I`m sure I`ve read somewhere that the BMW `mini` has the same wheelbase as the landrover discovery!!!!???!!!
I look at the mini in the same way as the new beetle , an oportunity lost by their manufacturers.

Cartercopters is another American company developing the autogyro. They have done research into high speed gyros.Quite a sleek design by all accounts.

i`m pretty sure NASA have already experimented with this (no links , sorry)but as stated previously, probably found the extra weight outweighed the gains.
