    Didn’t someone post a photo of an Aussie Beaufighter in a playground some time ago? I seem to remember that it ended up in a museum.

    Even if it is true, they will still need to make the first flight from Bruntingthorpe. It’s a long way to taxi a Vulcan across to Waddington.

    i’ve always liked the thought of a griffon powered dh hornet:cool:
    but how about a griffon(or sabre:eek: )powered seafury:D

    3 of the 4 top four are under rebuild to fly, so thats a start.

    from what i understand all four of the top four are under restoration to fly
    1 mosquito in new zealand
    2 blenheim in the uk
    3 beaufighter in the uk plus a long term project down here
    4 beaufort down here as well(hopefully not to far from completion)

    wasnt there a near complete one scrapped in europe in the 60’s or 70’s 😡 .
    as for engine’s what about falconer v12’s as used in the thunder mustang,they’re getting around 600hp or so.
