Nice Pictures. Particularly like the Hanger 11 formation. I think Mr T was at the control of the MkXI but does anyone know who the other pilot was in the Hurribomber?
Well the US did bomb the Iraqi Air Force Museum…..
What!! while enforcing the no fly zone in Libya! They are miles off target:diablo:
If I remember rightly wasn’t there a JU52 as well in Red cross markings?
Maybe there would have been more developement of the P40. – supercharged engine etc Or the Bell P39 and 63
Sounded like a good evening to beat the winter blues, I keep toying with the idea of going to one, but I dont know any other members:o

You should try and go next time I’m sure you would enjoy it. Very interesting and entertaining. And I’m sure someone would talk to you even if it is just the guessed speaker :diablo:
I think it is getting harder to get the CAA approval for these A/C now. Maybe this is part of the reason for selling these rarer machine on? I am sure someone will confirm or contradict this.

There appears to be a small skull and crossbones on the nose when you enlarg the photo similar to Friday the 13th markings
I am sure if Holywood remake the Great Escape movie and they include the model it would become a B17
Spitfire
I am sure I have see something recently on the TV that showed an almost complete fighter being raised from the murky depths that looked like it was a definite candidate for restoration. I think there was a bomber as well…….. Oh no wait that was the smirnoff advert :D:diablo:
Would it be great if you could do that 🙂
