    Thanks Michelle I think the P-39 you refer to being restored is the TFC one (It has been a long time!)
    By the way the picture is not a P-39 but a very nice F7F Tigercat.Do you know who it belongs to ?

    Excellent book of Pierre Clostermann’s is ‘The Big Show ‘ published by Chatto & Windus around the fifties but still available if you hunt it out in secondhand bookshops.He also wrote one called ‘Flames in the Sky’ not about himself but about various people and theatres of ops, well worth a read.

    I,m with you on this Kev , I think I’m turning into an old f**t, but I listern to radio 2 as I do a lot of driving and once you’ve hear one load of adverts… you know what I mean. plus I loss the signal for Capital FM near Brighton … well thats my excuse!!

    If you wouldn’t mined. It seem other films like ‘reach for the skies’ have been available for ages but no B of B. Another one I would Like is ‘Empire of the Sun’ purely for the excellent mustang scene.

    I agree ‘Piece of Cake would be a tad long,so I go for BofB or DBW as I blinked and misses its showing at our local cinema.And I don’t mind bringing some polishing clothes and cockpit cleaner to give Ashley a hand.
