RE: The Washington Sniper —- Death???

I believe that if there is overwhelming evidence as it appeares in the case of the sniper then there is justification for the death penalty and also because there was multiple deaths. If however the murder is not premedetated or there is not 100% certainty then it should be commuted to life imprisonment, and life should mean life. I don’t agree with this time off for good behaviour rubbish’ when did they introduce a compensation sceam for the victims families and after so many years (if they’ve been good!) do they get a bonus of some sort?,no so why should the murderer. From the moment the commit the crime they waver any ‘civil right’ and deserve what ever the law throughs at them.

RE: A36 – Clipped Tail Feathers!

I believe she is going to California to be restored to stock condition. Because Tom Freikin saw Princess Elizabeth being restored to stock he wanted the same for the A-36.
There are quite a lot of differences between this A/C and the P-51D the A-36 is about 6 inches shorter in height for starters

Does anyone know if the A-26 is the one which was based briefly at North Weald a few years back?

    RE: FW-190 at Manching

There may be plenty of P-51Ds flying but I think there is probably a market for P-51A,B/Cs and even maybe the odd A-36, just look at the interest generated by Tom Freikin’s at Flying Legends this year and the long awaited sight of Princess Elizabeth.
We all have a wish list ( P-61 Black Widow!!) but the few have the money unfortunatly…(must remember to do the lotto). I just hope people like Stephen Grey don’t sell up and go into stamp collecting.

By the way I got a good close look at the Grumman F3F last year, and I don’t care if it is a ‘fake’ I thought it was the Dogs wotsits!!!!;)
