Jim If the Criminal Protection Service would take a chance or two and start prosecuting some lawbreakers and the Judiciary would send them down I would be a much less Grumpy old sod.

I would like to see this exercise repeated on a regular basis in my area instead of bums on seats in Police Stations. Still it is a start so I must not be to mean spirited about it.

As I am only three years off 70 it does have a few compensations. One is the wisdom I have aquired over the years another is tolerance of the ill informed young. The rest you can stick as it bags, sags or drags once you get your body moving and it tries to keep up with your brain!

My view has not changed since day one. Our Forces should not be there or have been in Iraq. I want them home. This is not meant to devalue them or what they have tried to do. I SUPPORT OUR FORCES. not the war. It breaks my heart to see them die or have life changing injuries.Where did that saying come from anyway? The word is maimed but that sounds more serious to our political masters!
