Abingdon, Battle of Britain show, its the only ones that were held there since the Coronation review.

    I’m bored now!

…..up till the fantastic Abingdon Fayre Air & Country Show 😉 😉 😉

    Not Great Warbirds…

The Sally B shot is an unmanipulated pic (some dust duffed out, no other changes, no crops) but there’s something not quite what it seems… 😉

Nick, OAG, have a warm feeling. How did you know it was Abingdon?

to be honest mate I don’t know…somehow it just cried out ABINGDON at me.

…& Nick,Farnbro’ 74 was my first show as well.

As to the B-17 shot I too was gonna say Warbirds, but seeing as that’s been denied, wasn’t there a kind of pre-Warbirds event at Elstree, and then Stapleford in the early-mid ’80s…purely guess work,I may add

The Jags overflew Wallingford at 1410hrs Local approaching from the N-E,departing South. The “missing-man” pull-up aircraft was visible from Didcot.
The Spitfire is due to fly-past the Officers Mess, presumably after the Wake
