Preffered her like this though…:D

I’ll tell you what.If this Hurricane gets to Takali, Malta next year and gets positioned adjacent to the Maltese Hurricane in the same squadron markings, with the Medina in the background and the lowering sun, I for one will be there to photograph it.
Good point Mark12.
When i first saw this thread, i murmered a ‘hmmmmm’ aswell. Although, if it is authentic, and a happy coincidence, then what the hell. As long as she is flying and isn’t dressed up in pink polka dots!!!
Yes, it also has scale split flaps and navigation lights. 🙂

The only downside of that is they don’t move in a scale manner.
Turns are too quick, movements too sudden, unless they’re seriously big scale.
As a model warbird pilot myself, i see this all too often. You do have a point, but it is as much to do with the pilot as it is the aircraft. Anything from 1/6th scale upwards can be flown in a perfect scale manner IMHO. just bring back the revs, don’t race her and be steady and graceful with the sticks. I shall be practicing this technique this summer with my 1/6th csale Mick Reeves Spitfire and will try to have it filmed to see how realistic i can fly her. 🙂

probably because you pressed ‘stop’ or the page stopped loading for an unkown reason. Just click ‘resfresh’ and they will work again. 🙂
They are beautiful models! Absolutely superb. I think that 109G-6 needs an appropriate opponent… Enter my Spitfire Mk.IX! :p
Give me a little while black 6 and i will have one that i am sure you will enjoy – watch this space 😉
p.s. guys it’s not MH434, it’s a Mk.Vb Spitfire…;)

Steve. That is an awesome picture! There is something about the lines of a Seafire 47 – it’s mean. And what a great thought it is knowing that one is airworthy again in the world!
Here’s my new avatar, it took a while to do. can anyone guess the Spitfire and the location/year?
Crap, i feel really bad now.
🙁
I’m confused… A type underwing roundels with C type fuselage roundels?
Nice work btw Snapper.
MikeH, are those pictures yours? If so, i apologise for not crediting you for my avatar. They are fantastic shots! If you would like me to remove my avatar or credit it somehow, i will do.

Takeoff methinks. very impressive. could almost be Ray Hanna flying it! 😀
