It was also featured in a recent edition of Airliner World.

Does that strike you as surprising?

To a certain degree, yes. If you have seen any of the other bond films, when he flies into or out of an airport, he is always on a British Airways aircraft. And not being pandantic about it, but being a ‘British’ agent, it would seem reasonable to think he would travel with the national airline…

Having said this, in the earlier films he used Pan Am, and also an Air France Concorde in ‘Moonraker’… 😎

However, his choice of Virgin is not suprising in some areas, seeings as it is a new film and new actor taking over the lead role, perhaps the production team wanted to change things around.

By flying on Virgin, I’d expect he would most likely travel Upper Class, and therefore be able to sit at the onboard bar and drink a Vodka Martini, shaken not stirred! 😀

Most of my comments have already been aired…thanks to posters mentioned below, you saved a few mins…lol! 😀

…this livery does not really suit it, the livery looks better on smaller planes…

…BE’s livery don’t seem to go well together normally i.e B737.

The A318 is much more prettier.

Yes, but BAA still exists, for now, just the ownership has changed. I expect this will change going forward.

Well the change has already begun in parts because BAA (as a company) was de-listed from the London Stock Exchange a couple of days after the sale was agreed!

I was reading an interesting article in Skyport, the local newpaper for Heathrow, and it said that 82% of BAA shareholders agreed to the sale to Ferrovial, and that although Ferrovial have now bought BAA, they look set to keep most of the executive managers on because they have done such a good job so far of maintaining and developing the airports into world-class transit hubs.

Sorry mate, I never registered my copy, as I was only suppose to borrow it from a friend, but he never asked for it back as he got Version 6! Now that I have lent the same copy to another friend, who is yet to give it back, I cant access anything! Sorry.

Which version do you own though.

I’ve been reading about the latest version (6.2) which is now on its 5th or 6th patch!!!

I use to own version 5, but I lent it to a friend who has yet to give it me back…damn it! I have only played on my friends version of version 6 though, so not spent as much time on that one as I have the other.

    That was actually easier.

Yeah, sorry for that. I thought it would be harder, but I suppose it was easier because the Titan Airways livery is so recognisable…

Emm, not meaning to be rude, but that was a bit easy, seeings as there was no other a/c in the pic.

    How’s about the one below.

Can you spot where the Titan Airways 757 is?

    Welcome to the forums!

As a shameless plug, the university I have just finished studying at offer a degree in commerical pilots training. It takes three years, and you get your frozen ATPL. PM me if you want more details.

At the moment a Piper Warrior II 161, usual club hire aircraft, moving onto the Arrow III soon and then the Seneca for my multi engine rating

Cloud I fly to Bembridge occasionally, what is the nearest airfield to you?, it will cost a bit to fly from Staverton to Wycombe Air Park? then Bembridge and back again, do you need to return on the same day or is it a stop over? being only a PPL holder at this point I can only charge you for half the flight, or 2/3 if you have another passenger, of course this being totally legal because it will be a pleasure flight for you and I 🙂

    Dean

    Thanks Dean,

I am not actually sure which airfield will be closest to me, as I am moving back to Croydon next week (5th July)…so I can only assume that Biggin Hill will be the closest? And even then I am not sure of exactly when I would need to go, I was merely asking to see if people were able to do it…but it would be day-trip.

I think this could be settled then, the venue for the next Key fly-in? 😉

Bembridge is a nice little airport, limited facilities, and a bit of a walk to the local village. I visited it last summer but took the train/ferry, would much prefer to fly with someone this time if possible!

    😮 First Choice are only 5th! 😮

OMG! I cannot believe it, even Flyjet had a better punctuality rating…

At least FCA won the Summer ’05 punctuality tables, lets see if they can do it again this year!

All these shots are absolutely stunning, but how do you do them?

I have FS2002, but no add ons at the mo, so I only got the bog-standard airlines it comes with (Orbit Airlines is my favorite!). I am getting on ok, but would love to post some screenshots up, but just don’t how to do them – HELP PLEASE!
