Mick Jennings said on Saturday it will go to the Norwich Airport aviation museum – CNAM.
Must say their white Buccaneer cockpit (fresh out of the paint shop) and Gulf Jaguar looked especially good – lets hope they’ll be well cared for at their new home.
Do they do commisions ? 😀

Is Nigel Spur’s yard in North Scarle, Lincs, still extant and trading ????

Mystery Harrier
Can anyone tell me which Harrier this is (located at Bruntinthorpe) & who owns it ?
here she is!
Didn’t Stuart win an award for that (ex-Welshpool) one last Cockpitfest ?
Hi
Although not a trader , for me it’s to far , travelling the south coast road from devon to arrive in a reasonable time.
Lack of punters will lead to lack of traders, maybe a two location aerojumble might be more succesful, maybe a move to a different more central location may help ? Somewhere around the bristol area would be accessable to many more , and has great roads around it, easy access for south west, wales , north M5, M4 corridor etc, isn’t there an airfiled just north of bristol, nr gloucester ?
cheers
Jerry
Jerry,
I ~may~ consider taking a cockpit, and as i’ll be also travelling from Devon, perhaps we could pool resources on this ? And there may yet be a third person/cockpit travelling up too ?
Cheers…….
I fully realise that the Flypast historic forum is UK dominated, and that’s fine, as the magazine itself is British. But I am sick to death of endless Spit/Lanc/Mossie/Hurri posts. I’d love to be more creative and establish more original threads myself, but there is so little regarding the Australian aviation industry to write about that it is difficult, and would be of limited interest to many overseas members.
Regards
Wombat
On the contrary, as a subscriber to Classic Wings Downunder from its birth, i find the Aussie preservation movement & wreckology fascinating stuff.
And yet when i posted recently requesting Bommerang info’, the only reply (and a helpful one too) was from JDK pointing me at Matt Dennings website.
Likewise, i consider Setters updates on his extending photographic collection, especially the projects underway, such as the Vengeance… very enlightning indeed.
Please feel free to launch new threads on DAP Beaufighters, Beauforts etc..etc… you’ll be guaranteed at least one person will read them 😀
Cheers……..
Is this book any good ?
Yes, i’m pretty sure thats the fund raising Wasp used by Flight-Aid and normally hangered down here at Dunkeswell.
One for Dave Burke…….
Can you shed any light on the life & times of the other CASA 2-111 nose & parts that have just been featured in a magazine (Flypast ?) as being offered for sale in Austria ?
I believe the nose & center section where at Firbeck many moons ago, plus it utilised other bits from a genuine He111 that where recovered by divers from a fjord and subsequently moved to Duxford.
I think the fin of which is/was still there against a wall in the Superhanger.
Cheers…..
I thought Sally B had replica fibreglass turrets.
Perhaps they’ve finally acquired the real thing ?
Sent you a private message on the site, let me know what you think.
Thanks !
TC
Got it, but still considering your offer.
. The last couple of signed ones have gone for between about $50 (in the US) and £75 (in the UK)
Mike,
Thanks for the input, although mines not signed so i presume that reduces any price fetched at auction significantly ?
Cheers….
So what is this book ~really~ worth then ?
If its on various dealer websites for $700+, do’s that mean it actually fetches that amount ?
