so are we saying that peter vallance’s collection is being moved on/, broken up? or am i confused?

No, no, and yes.

Climbing out of Gatwick today I noticed many parked aircraft in Charlwood but not at the Gatwick aviation museum…

I find it incredible though that the Gatwick museum has had so much hassle with planing etc, yet houses can conveniently be put up on a nearby site.

No, no, and yes.

The cleaning issue is becoming a pretty major one for me as the aircraft in both building are starting to look dirty.

The IWM charges quite a sum for entry and the exhibits should be kept clean.

In fairness most museum aircraft get dusty, it must be headache to deal with. Maybe it possibly seems worse in the AAM due to plenty of natural light and elevated viewing access?

I must admit that I have only encountered happy museum workers/volunteers, well certainly helpful anyway.
The one exception is security guards, but I guess they don’t nescesarily have the interest in the subject.

Yak11fan is the winner! It’s a bit dusty but I’m sure HFL could have it flying by the show season.

No more Delfins have arrived yet, but the three here are now under major strip and inspection by dedicated engineers, and prepping for paint has started on them.
The Yak-52s are going through their annuals and maintenance.

Work is now recommencing on the Gannet by the established crew and new engineers and volunteers;)

It would seem a bit pointless having a warning horn it if it can’t be heard above engine and W/T noise?
