Cellulose to be use as a top coat

The problem with cellulose is thats it’s basically crap. It’s very brittle so chips easily & it never *cures* so 30 years from now you could still wipe the paint off with a rag soaked in laquer thinner.
One of the best (etch) primers for metal is DuPont Vari-Prime… but it’s not good stuff to breathe, which is why it’s known as “yellow death” by people who have used it;)

I know, but the Sears version isn’t exactly heavy…. I think the PR11 at Wright Patt has the Sears version, I’ll have to check the resto album as I know there are pics in there of the crowbar.. 😉

🙂 Just out of interest has anyone tried hiring Murray Walker for as a Airshow Comentator that could be quite fun and as its not cars or bikes he might not have a lot to say????

The infamous MW *kiss of death* might not be quite so funny at an air show…:(

Sears/Craftsman have a tool that is a crow bar on one end & pointy at the other. It’s also the right size & I’ve seen a few aircraft with them fitted (after they were painted)

    Edit… Here ya go:

At Chino yesterday the USAF commentator with the C17 display team was wittering on about how good it was, paused & then said “I’ll just shut up now” as the plane made a pass at 80knots with everything hanging in the breeze…. 🙂

Your daughter seems a well adjusted young lady. As you say she seems to have got the general idea quickly enough.

She managed to get through $80 on geegaws & shiny things. She also spent most of the day at the VIP enclosure stuffing her face. She had her hammock set up at the Alllied Fighters hangar which is one of the new, but old looking, hangars they built a couple of years ago.

The Historic Engines guys ran this thing up the ramp both days, it’s LOUD..

These are the gals from the stand with the Triumph:

They wandered into the VIP enclosure & were quickly cornered by some fighter pilots… 😉

So, had it shrunk then 😉

It certainly had, dunno how that happened just hanging in the closet for 18 years…

So, with me being as thick as two short planks nailed together, what is the jacket patch.. and its significance?

    Nice Triumph by the way!

Former TFC Tigercat, patch is TFC 😉 😀
