Martin has been kind enough to let us have access to it so that we can measure up the Box assy that houses the forward control column stop 🙂

Can you post any of the various specs by PM Alan?

    Thanks Alan

Guessed you’d be along. They’re called up on a drawing for the Sutton harness release assembly, I guess there’s not even a reference to just AGS702?

    cheers

Not Stirling as the gauges are individually numbered 1 to 7

    Morning all

a short update to let you know that thanks to the assistance of Marshall Land Systems, the Project has taken delivery of several thousand laser cut cleats and gussets etc. These small but vitally important parts are found all over the airframe and whilst being relatively straightforward to manufacture, the sheer quantity required would have made them a right royal pain to make by hand, especially as the laser cutting process has allowed for all of the pilot holes to be made at the same time. The only cost to the Project was for 2 sheets of 8′ x 4′ 20swg aluminium 🙂

With any luck, Marshall will also laser cut the myriad frames for the fuselage proper once drawn up, this will significantly productionise the reconstruction

Can’t help with the chap they’re looking for but might be able to identify some of the parts they’ve found. Hopefully they’ll find him

Hopefully not too long, we’ve got to translate hardcopy drawings to CAD and then we’ve got Marshall Land Systems on standby to laser cut the bomb bay frames. This of course will be dependent on their workload at the time and how they will fit this FOC work in.

With any luck, Spring should start to see some material progress

    Hi Cees

yes the Boiler room is included 🙂

Personally I always think that the FE position is reminiscent of a Submarine control room….
