Would I be correct in assuming that there are a couple of hungry canines taking care of the AAM when the site is closed and while the front is off?

Thanks DCW, that had me fooled for all of three seconds – but it had me fooled.
But it’s on the interweb so it must be true, surely?

Where did the matter that comprises the Universe come from – has it always been in existence or was it created during the Big Bang? This question is why I’m only a 99.9% atheist, not a total one. Or is it all to do with quantum physics, where apparently normal laws of logic don’t apply? Does the Creator (whoever, whatever) have a master plan? Why am I talking like this at one o’clock in the morning- think I’ll make a cup of tea and contemplate the night sky.

Actually chaps- you’re being too serious- I was hoping for some witty answers, not a perishing discussion.

The Railfest is not now happening – their website is out of date. Apparently it looks like there are 6000 houses to be built over most of the site, and the remainder is to be filled with redundant London tube stock. If you purchase the current copy of Steam Railway magazine there is an article in there about it.
A ‘consolation’ event is to be staged at the Nene Valley railway near Peterborough.

There’s a discussion over on the UKAR forum about this very issue.

Another good one is The Sky Crawlers original aircraft designs but they look great!

The aircraft in this film resemble developed Dornier 335’s and gull-winged Mustangs. The story, about a never-ending conflict, is quite philosophical in tone as these things tend to be. Well worth a look.

Why don’t they build houses on golf courses? Participation in this most tedious of all ‘sports’ is dropping fast which should hopefully result in many clubs going under.
